Take a look at what motivation strategy you're using. Are you motivated towards something? or away from something? For example, my dunk journey was motivated by my dream to achieve something so fun but I was also motivated to prove people wrong. Both, towards and away motivation, are useful but in different situations. For me, trying to prove people wrong made me want to avoid strength training because people told me do it and I wanted to prove them wrong. This delayed my progress and it was hard to admit to myself that I need to drop that need to prove people wrong. (I definitely still love to do it but I won't let it blind me from being objective about training)

Both types of motivation are great FUEL! Just be objective if its doing more harm than good! 😃✨
